Project Completion at St. Michael’s and All Angel’s Talbot, Vic

This little organ was originally built by George Fincham in 1868 for Christ Church Warrnambool.

It eventually found its way to Talbot in 2008, and was restored by Australian Pipe Organs in 2016.
The case was restored by local craftsman Eddie Peck, and a local sign writer decorated the facade pipes. It was great local talent could also be used with this restoration.

We would like to thank everyone involved with this project, especially the members of the Church who looked after us very well whilst we were there.

The photo is of the Church just before a concert as part of the Goldfields Organ Festival, and Rhys Boak gave the splendid concert, showcasing the wonderful tonal colours of this instrument.
